Cambodia to Host Asian Youth Games 2029

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia has become the official host of the Asian Youth Games 2029. The Kingdom has signed for the hosting rights in Dubai on Sunday. It was announced by Secretary of State at the Ministry of Tourism and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia Vath Chamroeun.

Vath Chamroeun says that Cambodia is very proud to get the official rights to host the fifth Asian Youth Games 2029, during the Olympic Council of Asia General Assembly in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. OCA General Assembly was participated by 45 Asian countries including Cambodian.

Minister of Tourism Thong Khon and Phnom Penh Governor Khuon Sreng have led the Cambodian sports delegation in Dubai. They left the country last Saturday to plan the road ahead for international sports event. Vath Chamroeun has thanked the Royal Government and the people of Cambodia for their support for the sports sector as well as their contribution to boosting socio-development for the country.
